Jared Fortunato Photography Awarded WeHo Arts Commission Grant

I’m inspired by place. This place. My place, the place I call home. Building on my “Hollywood” project, I submitted a proposal to the West Hollywood Arts Commission for a grant to explore the people and places of West Hollywood. And today, I was informed the arts council approved my project. So honored! When I moved here to West Hollywood four years ago, little did I imagine that one day the city leaders would be discussing the merits of my work? I’m humbled. Inspired. And like I said in my project statement, so grateful I get to call this place home.

We've spent the last year collaborating through the online MFA program at the Academy of Art University. We've become close through the process, and yet never met "face to face."
